And now the ``ugly`` ones

I know they are necessary but why do n`t build them in the Kings garden ?
There's really no good place for them, but they seem to apply a lot of energy.

It must be hard to find a place to put them- it's not like they're compact and they have to be up high enough to catch the wind.

I cut my own hair most of the time!

I have to admit I quite like them although I know a lot of people don't. I love the leading line down to them in this shot, fav.

hahaha, I guess usefulness over beauty. But by all means, the dutch are so smart with their dunes, its unbelievable beautiful !

Lovely leading lines taking one straight to the turbines. Fortunately we do not have any in our area, although we do have a howling south easter wind here.

I don't like them but they are in the interest of the whole world. It's true what you said about the king. Nobody would wish them behind his/her door so the mighty build them next to others' doors. Still a lovely shot.

De kijklijn naar de windmolens is prachtig! Ze maken een hoop herrie hoor ik van mensen die er dichtbij wonen.

Ik denk dat het niet hard genoeg waait in de koninklijke tuinen...

Definitely far less attractive that the old windmills, and so large that they can be seen from a very long way away. I suppose we have to put up with them until someone comes up with a better and less intrusive way to generate electricity.

They are a bit of a blight on the landscape and they can be very noisy. I wouldn't like to have them nearby.
