The layout of the farmland

Almost all the land is drained and the excess water is drained through: drainage pipes, ditches, larger ditches and then canals. (When it`s to dry it goes way back) From here it is pumped into the river or sea. Small dams give the farmers the opportunity to get on the land with their machines. (And me to make room for an oncoming car.) Also to take my pictures up close without much problem.
