The Chickadees usually eat at our feeders however, when snowshoeing we bought along a little bag of sunflower seeds. They enjoyed the feast, and we enjoyed their company.
Thank you for your comments and visit......it's greatly appreciated.
WOW! What a treasure of a picture. Where do you live that they come so close to you like that? I wish that would happen here in NJ...Also, can't wait for the spring weather to feel like spring weather...though clearly, these sweet chickadees don't mind the cold and snow...:)
Oh, how precious is this! I wish all birds could trust us humans. It'd be such a treat to get to interact with the wildlife like this everyday. Neat that this little felt comfortable enough to come close for a treat.
Great fun. I recall a couple of years ago when we were hiking in Algonquin and were followed by a Gray Jay. He ate an apple out of our hand. Thanks for the memory. Fav
As always, my macro project enjoys your company.
