Canada Geese

A pair of Canada geese from the 100's gathering in the bay in front of my house just before the flock headed south for the winter. I'm going to miss their constant honking!!

Like this in b&w - counted 85 of your geese that made it down here this afternoon to the walking trail - like it when they stay on the grass in the center, but gosh it's like walking a mine field when they get out on the trail itself.

Great B&W capture. I too will miss the Canada Geese when they go. They gather on the river and fly overhead honking loudly when I 'm out walking

I bet it seems so quiet and almost lonely when the geese leave for the winter, taking their honks with them. I like the way this image is composed, with space in the water before them.
