Lucky geese and gulls, having this lovely island setting to themselves. The snow makes the isolated piece of land contrast so nicely against the sky and water. Does this mean you're still canoeing or did you take this picture from the shore?
My apologies for making you drool the other day with the cookie picture. tee-hee. I thought I was the only one in my house who liked this cookies so figured I'd be plenty sick of them by the time two batches were consumed but low and behold, the guys have decided they like them after all which is good - I needed help in eating them. Thanks for the fav too.
@lyndemc Thank you for your comment and stopping by but the canoe is up on the racks and won't be out again this year, this was taken from the shoreline.
As you can see the water is still open but is very cold it won't be long before freeze up!
@radiogirl Aw, shucks about the canoe being up for the season, but don't suppose it's wise to cruise out on such cold waters. A spill would be disastrous. Beautiful view you have from the shore. You know I envy you immensely...
