Tulips on the inside

I played around with photographing these tulips at the window with the snow outside. So I have spring inside and winter outside!

At first I wondered if this wasn't a selective coloring image with the outside in B&W but I'm guessing it's actually the way it looks, no editing necessary. Thank goodness for store-bought flowers that allow us to bring a little SPRING home ahead of nature's schedule.

Nice set-up! It almost looks like a high-key shot- a fun trick on your eyes. I think a bouquet of Tulips is such great pick-me-up at this time of year. We soooo want the snow to be gone, but it's just hanging in there. But inside, there's this beautiful burst of color. Good shot!

Sounds like the best of all possible worlds! Spring should be arriving at your part of the world pretty soon.....I have just transplanted some beautiful orange tulips, and I know how much joy they bring!
