These are large chunks of ice deposited on the edge of the riverbank. Water is now flowing down the river and into the lake. This image is made up of ice and trees reflected from the far bank of the river.

That one chunk of ice looks rather like a geode rock. Seeing the thickness of this ice one can better understand how vehicles can be driven out on the lake to a fishing hut without fear of breaking through.
