I was standing beside my vehicle taking pictures of the Rockies and didn't notice this large black bear walking up behind me. He passed me no more than 10 feet away, he sauntered down this hillside and proceeded to lay down in the stream and have a drink!!
Not only was it terrifying to think that he had come so close to me but was also quite hilarious watching him frolic in the glacial waters of the Rockies, where I could observe him from a safe distance.
Last photo with my cell phone, back home from my holiday so now I can go through the 4500 pictures I took with my camera!

We both did wildlife today but your wildlife is much, much bigger than mine :) That must have been a terrifying experience, I'm amazed you got a shot of him. I would have been locked inside that vehicle with the windows up!
