Taking a Break

First winter walk into the bush makes a difference changing from running shoes to winter boots, after walking for an hour a well deserved break!
Then the rain came and we have no more snow, it's looking like we will have a green Christmas, very unusal!

Thanks so much for putting my squirrel photo from yesterday on the PP!!
Happy Friday.
What a beautiful capture, even if the snow only lasted a short time. I love the pop of red, too.

Lovely pop of color in that snow! We have none, and I am glad I at least can see it in pictures.

Wonderful shot, composition, tones, colors

Winter wonderland. Disappointed for you that it'll be a white Christmas. Seem entirely more appropriate to have snow. This makes a great personal Christmas card.

That looks dreadfully cold! I must say living in the Southern Hemisphere that I am happy to be celebrating in the warm sunshine!

Love the picture, was hoping you'd have snow for Christmas as I loved your snowy shots last year!

Snow, you blink and miss it. We haven't had any here as yet unless I slept through it. LOL

This scene looks so lovely with its touches of white everywhere. Hard to imagine it without snow this time of year, especially considering that you're so far north. What a beautiful place you have for hiking.

still looks a bit chill. Great composition.

True winter. Cool shot!

Lovely to see you in this beautiful winter shot, with your bright jacket and hat making a great contrast to the wintry tones around you. If even you, where you are, are expecting a green Christmas, it seems even more likely that we will have one in Toronto too. I am longing for some snow.

Great winter scene! No sign of snow for us yet.

We're having the same unusual weather here- on Sunday it was 72 degrees!
