A Church in rural Quebec

Churches in Quebec had some of the most elaborate structures in all of Canada. They were an extremely religious society. In the late 60's the french turned their backs on these magnificent structures and gave up religion. The reason for this wa the oppressiveness of the church and its connection to politics. Today these churches stand mostly unattended.
