"Canadian Gothic"

This portrait of me is a Canadian version, painted by my husband, of the classic American Gothic painting by Grant Wood.

I thought it would work nicely for the flash of red 2018 challenge this week on composition with the emphasis on shapes, lines, contrast and patterns.

Thank you for the lovely comments on the photo of my "Skates" yesterday, unfortunately I'm too old to train for the Olympics, Lol, but I'm having fun and keeping active!
