Pearl Mist

On the weekend we visited Manitoulin Island and had the pleasure of seeing this cruise ship leave the dock in Little Current.
Lake Huron is one of the five Great Lakes, and separates the province of Ontario from the state of Michigan. The lake covers an area of about 59,600 sq km (23,000 sq mi) and is home to Manitoulin Island, the world's largest lake island.

This is one big ship! So many people in our town are into cruises - but I'm a little like Jane - think I'd worry. Have been looking at some of the very small river boat cruises as a possibility some day.

I'd always hoped we see more of Michigan when my son lived there, but we never did. I can't imagine the size of the boat and lake- wow! Great shot.
