Snow Moon

I'm participating in Flash of Red February, b&w with a flash of red on the 14th.

This is the first of four supermoons set to take place in 2020, and the first to occur since March 20th last year. They happen when the full moon is at its closest point in its orbit of Earth, making it seem bigger and brighter than usual.
Thanks for stopping by, I appreciate all your comments and favs.

LOL -- exactly what I just posted! I actually thought to myself as it unscrolled that I didn't remember cropping it that much! Then saw it wasn't mine.

I looked out the glass doors last night as the moon was rising and thought that it had to be a Super Moon it was so big! Unfortunately it's covered by so many trees it's not worth trying to get a shot. Glad I got to see yours!
