inspired I realize after looking at this for a few days - by @adobewaters many layered photos which I love; check them out if you're not familiar with her work
@meisen325 - it was an absolute deluge and at first I was parked in my car talking on the phone - i took a shot through the windshield of some greenery in front of me - it turned out to be a blueish-green blur I kind of liked but that wouldn't stand alone. I used that in PSE over a photo I took of traffic and lights at a stoplight later in the same big rainfall. I adjusted the opacity of the greenery shot to see the traffic shot through it and heightened the oranges and pinks some. I like that one of the street signs is clearly readable. I thought the colors looked brighter and more to my liking in PSE than they do now that I've posted it, but oh well . . .
@adobewaters - i've finally learned how to use my own photos as filters; as I look at this, the inspiration in the back of my mind was the influence of looking at a lot of your work and I'm sorry I neglected to realize and say that - i'll edit to make note of that.
Hi Riba, As I have been absent for a while I won't be able to comment on all your pictures although I will look at them, but this one caught my eye immediately. Great atmospheric picture. FAV.
