Somerset House has a long history, as a Palace originally, the National Registry Office and many other things in between - and now houses the Courtauld Gallery. It’s a very beautiful building and every winter they host an ice rink. Thomas decided he wanted to go skating, having not done so for 35 years. I declined but was happy to make it a photo op - although difficult with hundreds of people on the ice! He did very well although had a fall towards the end and now nursing some ice on his hand.
