I made a photo book for my son’s 30th birthday - you see the cover and the centre pages here. On either side of centre, I scanned family photos, edited and converted to b&w, starting from his great great grandparents on my side to the middle and my husbands from there on. Makes for a good read as our ancestors come from all over the world.
That's such a lovely thing to do. We did something similar for our youngest daughter when she was 21 and she was delighted. I'm sure your son was also delighted.
@susiemc - thank you, he really was delighted. I was worried all the photos would disappear after we are gone, so now it ensures the next generation will have their questions answered
How wonderful. I've just finished putting together a photo book for my dad's 90th later this year. Along similar lines. It's a great project, but oh, so time-consuming!
@jamibann - I agree, it was very time consuming but in my case it was during the pandemic lockdown so it kept me occupied 😊 congratulations to your dad, I’m sure he will be thrilled
