Milford Sound Cruise #325

Still so many days/photos missing ..
Took this one on the Milford Sound Cruise about 3 weeks ago .. Can anyone explain me what that flag means?

Gorgeous image - so nice that you have been on this cruise as it's a lovely area to explore.
This is the NZ Ensign flag which must he flown on NZ Government ships, but can also be flown on other NZ boats/ships.

I have never seen this flag before either so it was intetesting for me to see & learn about the red version of the flag........perfect Milford Sound photo. Fave for me.
