Bench Life 8 by rich57

Bench Life 8

Yes it had to happen. The approach of winter and all the weather it entails meant there was always going to be a bench shot without any benchees. A couple of guys approached the bench and felt it but decided it was too wet, a lone pigeon pottered by but this blurry guy striding past summed up the day best...Might be the last bench shot for a while.
love the color tone and texture of the shot, richard... great job...

This is an excellent wintery shot - almost makes me feel cold and like rugging up (if it wasn't for the hot weather here down under as summer fast approaches!)..... :)

I've got the same issue with my gardening pictures. The pictures over the winter may be sparse but I bet you can still get plenty of variety in them. Keep in mind we are here waiting for the next picture in your series. ;-)

@dmortega @seattle To be honest it's mostly down to the fact that I won't have to go to London for work for a few months. I am thinking I could make a special journey maybe, but it's a 400 mile round trip!
November 19th, 2010
Ok, well we will all have to wait along with you. Now is the time to work on your other series. ;-)
November 19th, 2010
@dmortega Maybe a couple of other 365ers could keep the bench fires blazing over the winter. I'd love to see a snow one!
November 19th, 2010
Hmmmm .... good idea. Ask them. I'd love to see a snow one too.
