Year 2 Day 31
After getting the kids from school we met some friends and decided to go for a milkshake, but the queue was snaking out through the door when we got to the shake bar. Luckily the other adult knew of a new cafe just opened in a closed down primary school, now Headingley Enterprise and Arts Centre (aka Heart). It looks promising, a really nice outside space (complete with benches! 7.5/10). As I'd missed lunch I ordered a bite to eat (Grilled Halloumi and mushrooms with a roasted vegetable salad, tasty but served without that lovely hunk of crusty bread that would have made it 6.6/10). Planning on a coffee/breakfast visit in the future (the acid test). Oh, nearly forgot, loos were excellent (handwash colour coordinated with tiles, no less 9/10)
i love the angle of this photo. and i love that the two end girls are immersed in something, lol, and the middle one is wise to your camera :-) great shot! sounds like a cool place!
