One of the three shots I took whilst waiting in a cafe for the bike shop to open this morning.
I've taken so many of my shots around here. I usually frequent the cafes on the opposite side of the road but this morning they were all shut so i had to wait in Chicini which is the closest to a greasy caff round here. But a good place to sit with my camera and the paper!
@deesdiscoveries This guy was just standing outside the cafe, I shot this through the window. I'd left my camera sitting on the edge of the table ready for action. I don't think I'd have asked him for this shot!
@rich57 you make me laugh. LOL, I can see you asking to shoot a photo of his rear. LOL. I meant all of your other street and people shots. Im going to try the camera on the table trick though, for sure! Now, I just have to find a populated place where people are outside in this snowy weather....
@deesdiscoveries Ok, for the other ones, if I'm in Leeds I shoot from the hip as they say. That is I have my camera slung over my shoulder and nonchalantly aim and press the button whilst looking in the opposite, often accompanied by whistling. If I'm down in central London I just take a photo as it seems everyone's carrying cameras, and most people are tourists and most places attractions.
I love this - nice work :)
I'm still struggling with my "shoot from the hip confidence" - I've tried, and I think I stand out more from the crowd by trying to not look like I stand out. Perhaps I need the whistle. But I'm continuing to be inspired by your shots - so I will keep trying :)
This one is great by the way! The perspective is awesome!
