This beautiful church is now a cafe/art centre celebrating Norwegian culture. It's in Cardiff Bay and was where Roald Dahl was christened when it still functioned as a church. It used to be a vital meeting place for Scandinavian sea-farers many years ago. It's been beautifully restored by Norwegian carpenters. Oh and the coffee's great 9/10, cupcakes delicious 8/10, decor 10/10 and staff 9/10.
It looks delightful and would be a gorgeous place to spend a morning. I like that you have people in the picture ... somehow brings the inanimate 'alive'.
@erlend don't know about that other flag, I'll have a think/look. Yeah my daughter loves RD. You're from Bergen right? there's a load of photos of Bergen in that cafe
wonderful wonderful!!
our town has churches that look like this--
there were many Norwegians who immigrated to this area of iowa.(including my grandfather)
like this one, sounds typical norwegian. Looking forward to reading Roald Dahl to the Dude!
