This is the guy I nearly tripped over last month, went over and said hello and gave him some change. He didn't have anything to collect money, just some fruit. Maybe someone gave him that too. His friend was sound asleep.
We have the same thing in Brisbane and I always have change in my pocket, enough to get them a cup of coffee. I have never photographed the people though. More courage to you Richard.
Oh very irritating - I can't view this with the magnifier - I still can't get pics to scroll down using it - all I can see is a magnified white wall! Good street capture - glad you took time out to talk to him and help out a bit.
Great black and white and capture - I guess we're going to see more homeless on the streets again. We (church) have a deal with a local café that we send people down with a voucher for a meal and we refund the café - that particular place doesn't serve alcohol and is pretty welcoming - I must ask our monthly visitor if I can take a picture of him next month.
@islawight I can't scroll down either, but I can get see more of the screen by hitting F11 to clear the toolbars - that usually lets me see a picture full screen
Wow! A great shot, Richard. Your pictures are taking a new direction. It feels like you are looking at more detail. Not that you weren't before but they are going deeper into a scene. Excellent work.
