This is a passion flower - passiflora - and it appears in several colors. I've seen the purple, blue, pink, and all white. Neat looking - like something from out of space! Ours haven't appeared yet down by the creek, but should soon.
Such an amazingly-designed flower. There's nothing quite like the petals this one has. Obviously you had the right lens on the camera this time! (That's in reference to your comment on my clematis pic where I mentioned not having the right lens for catching a distant coyote.)
