Bird in the dirt

Not sure exactly what this one was doing, but it kept flying down on the ground and fluffing it's wings like it was in a bird bath, trying to get the sand on them. Think it was a young one.

He probably has mites or some other parasites and a dust bath will make him feel SOOOO much better :)

Martin, not sure what kind it was. looked like a young one. Sorta like a wood thrush. I've had cardinals around all the time, so might even could be a female cardinal.
