Duck on the Water!

Tried to look this one up, but did not find it, so if anyone knows what it is, please comment. Just the lone duck out in the lake.

This is a male Hooded Merganser. They can move those head feathers up and down so look different at different times.

I was hoping Anne would identify him - thought from pictures I've seen here on 365 that this might be a Hooded Merganser, but not sure of my birds that well yet.
