Armadillo Coming up for Air!

Watched this fellow for a good while with that nose stuck down in the leaves. It did finally come up for air and I was able to get this head on shot. Just couldn't get a side view of it with the head out of the leaves.

Anne, yeah, these things are all over Florida, as far as I know. Like Kerri mentioned, you usually see them on their backs, after being run over by the cars. :-(
