As you saw in the first shot, everything was really calm, and then all of a sudden it went to this. Wasn't sure if that was for me, or if it was a way to shed off the rain. By this time it was coming down pretty good. It stayed like this for some time and was making all kinds of gyrations while up there. Finally, it took off to another tree, but it still kept those wings spread, so guess it's something to keep the rain off. I'll try not to put any more owls of for a couple of days, at least. :-)
