Found this little blue heron at the edge of the water with something in its mouth. Just figured is was an old fish, so didn't pay that much attention to it at the time. After pulling the pictures down and looking closer, I then noticed that what the heron had, was a ball of string that was tied on to a chicken bone and a sinker. That is used for crabbing sometimes. Had noticed that the heron had dunked the mass in the water several times, as to be cleaning it. Just hope it didn't decide to finally swallow the stuff. :-(
I'm hoping the the Heron had more sense, lovely detail on the Heron.
