Was surprised to see this large crow up on the feeder this morning. It almost seems too large to be up there. Guess it didn't see anything it liked, as it didn't stay long.
That is unusual. There are lots of crows in our neighborhood but they never come to the feeder. A neighbor tosses bread out on his lawn & the crows will eat that.
I'm a huge fans of crows — they're such intelligent creatures (but then most birds and animals are). It's great how his eye has a catchlight to it. Makes that hard-to-see black eye actually noticeable.
