Another Face, Only a Mother Could Love!

The first being the vultures, but this armadillo sure runs a close second. That scaly head is something else, but does have sort of a neat pattern.

You caught this in the wild??? The only armadillos I've ever had the privilege of seeing are dead ones along the highway in MO. Not photo material in the least.

Yeah, Denise, most of them we see down here are one the side of the road, but for some reason, I've spotted them in this spot a couple of times. It almost walked up to me as I was squatting down trying to get the picture. Surprised that it didn't go running off, once I moved. :-)
