Or so it appears. A lady and her daughter brought this turtle down somewhat close to the waters edge and turned it loose. They had picked it from the side of the road and brought it down to the river to set it free again. After setting it free, they waited to watch it go to the water, but that didn't happen. The turtle just sat there. So they left, after which, the turtle turned and headed to the woods. My first thought was that it was not a water turtle but then after a few minutes in the edge of the woods, out it came, heading towards the water. Yay. It didn't stop until it hit the water and once that happened, away it swam, so had to be a water turtle, for sure.
