Algae

It's been a very hot day with temperatures above 30 degrees for much of the day. I popped down to Rutland Water to see if it was a bit cooler which it wasn't. The side effect of the heat is the algae is growing fast a week ago the water was totally clear here now it's mainly covered in green. Still it makes an alternative shot :)
Love the purple of the sky against the green algae! Been way too hot here as well - no aircon & my poor chooks were panting away... 😮

@rjb71 Absolutely not - but I think the lack of breeze is the killer - these temps in Mexico were no issue - as there was a good breeze too.
