Long distance spotters

Spotted these two deer as we walked through the Fineshade woods near Corby. They were watching me very intently but soon ran off as I took a step nearer. This was full stretch on my 300mm lens the focus is a little off but it's the best shot I got.
You caught them so well..so alert, ears up...and checking you out!

@granagringa Thank you I always check the clearings as they are often about grazing the grass.

@lovingandsharing Thank you the clearing runs up hill and the amount of zoom gives the impression I was lying down but I would have got rather wet!
