The Womping Willow

Every year when we visit Deene Park I photograph this magnificent tree. It always reminds me of the Womping willow Tree from the Harry potter books.

Beautiful! I just read the bit about Harry’s broomstick being destroyed by the whomping willow to my kids tonight. We love HP and I completely agree...this tree embodies the majesty of JK Rowling’s tree nicely.
