It's Blue up North!

Even the angels got a tan! Had to visit a customer near Newcastle today as I made good time I had chance to visit the Angel of the North sculpture before the meeting. It's rather impressive up close and doesn't disappoint. After a 400 mile round trip plus meeting I am now feeling rather knackered :)

We have seen it on a number of occasions from the A1 also but this really puts it into perspective. Great photoshopping also to get that blue sky in there :-)

It’s a sculpture that has grown on me, I have to say when it first appeared, I wasn’t that impressed! Now it is synonymous with Newcastle/ Gateshead.
