Road through the countryside

Bit of a messy shot. There was a thunderstorm approaching from the left bright sunshine on the right. Never quite sure how to expose shots like this in the past I have exposed the sky correctly but that leaves the foreground very dark. Think I'm stuck in the exposure triangle!

I think you did a great job! I think most professional people take a few shots, exposing different things in the fore and backgrounds, and then stack them to make everything look perfectly exposed!! FAV for me
