B&W Azalia

Seems wrong to rob this Azalia of its pretty pink colour. But I thought I would experiment with B&W abit more. Comments and critique welcome.
Very pretty! Color vs. b&w with flowers is difficult. I have bright orange azaleas that are so overwhelming in color that you miss the detail. I like the detail you've captured here.

You have captured the light well! I always struggle with bnw in flowers and rarely ever convert!

@dishaparekh176 Thank you :) I take a lot of flowers so I have been experimenting a bit. I find it brings the detail out better but you loose the punch of the colour.

Definitely worth experimenting with b&w for flowers, I often convert for high-key indoor shots where its easier to control the light. I like the interesting textures that are revealed- as here with your lovely azalea, nice shot!
