Rushton Triangular Lodge by rjb71

Rushton Triangular Lodge

This folly was built by Sir Thomas Tresham in the time of the reformation as a protestation of his faith after being imprisoned for his catholic faith. The fly represents the holy trinity having 3 sides 3 levels. Each wall is 33 feet long and has 3 triangular windows and 3 gargoyles.

So interesting, what a great shot and story.
