Spectacular colours this morning at Rutland Water they didn't last for long but glad I made the effort to get up there early I'm normally more sunset than sunrise! Tried a slightly long exposure only 2 seconds but it flattened the waves out nicely I can see I will have to purchase some ND filters if I want to pursue this as a technique:)
@phil_sandford Thanks :) an ND filter stands for neutral density it's basically blocks out some of the light allowing longer exposures this was at F20 and 2 seconds prefably it would be F14 but then the exposure would be shorter and the water rougher. Hope that explains it ok?
