Oh, I like the pose on this guy, sticking his hose out into that snow and wind. Great shot. You're lucky he stayed still enough to stay sharp for this relatively long exposure for a shot of such a small, active bird.

I agree; super capture. These guys are hard to catch.

@mwerner 1/1000 of a second is usually good enough to freeze motion - they are birds that don't stay in place very long

@rminer Sorry, I read the EXIF as 1/100 s. Maybe you were referring to the ISO.
