Blue Heron in Treetops

I don't usually have the chance to capture herons from this angle. Have 2 nests in one small tree about 1/4 mile from my house. Will any luck I'll be able to share some "chick pics" before too long.

How lucky! Great capture! I always think how strange that such a large bird, and a wading bird at that, nests in tree tops!

gorgeous shot, i went to a nature reserve the other week and they had about 20 grey heron nests in 2 trees

I took a photo almost just like this about 2 years ago... My heron was just a little higher in the tree. Great capture.
