Addie owned the property we now call our own back in the 30's and 40's. Her daffodil beds still line the woodland floor but have grown so dense that they no longer flower. Unless you dig them up and treat them to a little ground and sunlight of their own. Never met her, but her memory lives on.
Glad you all enjoyed the daffs; and, yes, Lynn, we now have patches replanted around our property and also shared with friends throughout western Maine. Addie would smile, I suspect.
