Gull in Grass

A day on the road. Heavy fog most everywhere we went. This gull, and most of his friends, seemed content to "sit this one out".

Beautiful capture, Rob ... I use a 300mm lens too. I hand hold mine almost all of the time. Only on occasion do I set up the tripod. This has great clarity.

Wonderful focus and clarity. I went to a seminar one weekend, on photography, and they said when photographing animals always focus the eyes. You've got that bang on!

Thanks, santina! I have a soft spot in my heart for the "common" critters that I feel don't get enough respect: gulls, pidgeons, crows!
