We've had many and varied critters eating the foliage this year. This guy dropped down in front of me on the way to check on the robins. Something a little different.

Thanks for taking the time for time to view and comment. It really was a "dumb luck" shot, especially in regard to the focus, as it was drifting from left to right in the breeeze and I was hand holding my macro lens. Must be all that clean living!

Thanks, Shirley. There's actually an amazing degree of luck invested in that shot. I have a hard time getting that sharp a focus with the tripod and and a dead bug. This guy was hand held and blowing in the wind. Yup,
luck, pure and simple.
