I'm thinking maybe a polarizing filter would help the colors to "pop" and look a bit more vibrant, like they really did. At any rate, parts of N.H. are at nearly "peak" color. A beautiful sight. The patches are green are evergreens, mostly spruce and hemlock, I believe.
