Dim light and no flash allowed. Not the best conditions for photography but I love this shot for the memory of the turtle right next to the performers head. It was easy to imagine this critter trying to upstage the swimmer, or to at least join in on the fun. For a good 5 minutes it continued to follow "The Little Mermaid's" every move. Several times it was so close she had to push it out of the way with graceful sweeps of her arms.
@amandal Very nice, yes. Not a whole lot there, and a bit run down, but the performers were fantastic and the short ride up the river provided some nice views of nesting eagles and great blue heron.
