We really don't see much of these fellas until they're pretty well grown and filling the front doorway as they look for an adult to return with food. Both Mom and Dad tend to the young. Today I saw one of the adults flying off with a pea sized pellet of "dropping". Keeping the nest clean; she flew across the road and dropped it about 25 yards away.
Adorable shot! They must be a joy to watch. I had never thought about droppings in the nest. Makes me feel better knowing that I'm not the only one that cleans house. :)
Thanks, All! Now I'm watching to see if I can catch any other "house cleaning missions".
