Twice Warm

There's a saying around here that wood warms you twice; once when you cut it, and again when you burn it. I've always been intrigued by the patterns inside the ash trees which so often remind me of maple leaves. I don't recall. The next time I cut down a maple I'll have to see if there are patterns that remind me of ash leaves. ;-)
Actually, this one almost looks like a bird and not a maple leaf at all. I think I've been staring at too many clouds.
