Ax and Coffee Mug by rob257

Ax and Coffee Mug

My father taught me how to carry an ax through the woods.
Mother taught me how to carry a cup of hot coffee across the kitchen.

One skill I use every day; the other, a handful of times each year.

I’d feel lost without either one.

Sometimes I feel lost without them.

But I know how to carry my ax, and my coffee never spills.

p.s. boiling hot coffee on ice cold morning. I was hoping for steam rising from the comp, but the wind was a little too much. May try a retake some cold morning when there's no breeze.
