After a morning of woods walking and "birding" with friends, this killdear greeted us at a local nursery as we headed home. Best shot of the day for me! ;-)
Ah yes, you and your beautiful birds, I always look forward to your sensitive captures of these gorgeous creatures, yours in the Northern Hemisphere are so different to ours in Australia. I love the tonality contrasting with the verdant green!

Thanks, Kat. We do have to get to Australia one day. Seems like whenever we travel to eastern or western Europe most of our fellow travelers are Aussies. And by the way, just to set the record straight, it's not a killdeAr, but a killdeEr! ;-)
